We also cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of our Services due to scheduled downtime or disruptions.
   
   To use our Services, users must enable the Discord setting 'Allow direct messages from server members' and remain on our Discord server. Failure to do so may result in their inability to interact with our service and may make them ineligible for a refund.

5. Subscription and Payment: We offer subscription-based Services with various tiers, each with different benefits and features. Users agree to pay the fees and charges associated with their chosen subscription tier. We reserve the right to change the subscription plans and pricing without notice, and we cannot be held liable for any changes made. We also reserve the right to modify or terminate our Services at any time. These purchases are recurring and we only offer refunds at our sole discretion.

Users can cancel their subscription by utilizing the designated channels available on our Discord server. Our Services will continue until the end of the subscription period in the event of a cancellation. By subscribing to our Services, users agree to our terms and conditions, including our cancellation policy. We do not guarantee refunds and will only grant them at our sole discretion and subject to certain conditions. To be eligible for a refund, users must provide a valid email address at the time of checkout.

6. Affiliate:  

• Users can become affiliates by joining our affiliate server (https://affiliate.thesenate.net)

• Affiliates can advertise the service through their preferred means

• The minimum payout is $100. Affiliate balances under $100 cannot be payed out.

• The affiliate's affiliate balance is increased in three ways:

• $10 for every 100'000 views on a video sharing platform

• $10 for every 100 invites to the main The Senate server

• $10 bonus every week if the affiliate posts at least 5 videos per day for a week

• Affiliates are not eligible for payouts if they are promoting competitors or collaborating with competitors

• Affiliates can be made illegible for payouts at our sole discretion if they abandon or refuse to fulfil their marketing and promotion efforts and responsibilities.

• The affiliate account is linked to the Discord account of the server owner

• The server owner needs to provide the payout details

• New affiliates are eligible to a sign-up bonus, only if previously specified in the negotiation phase. The sign-up bonus will be given out upon the referral of the first user by the affiliate. The sign-up bonus is part of the affiliate balance

7. Intellectual Property: Our Services and all materials and content provided through our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use our materials or content for personal, non-commercial purposes only, and you may share images or videos of our Services on social media platforms, provided that you give credit to us and do not modify the content in any way.
   
   We reserve the right to take down any content posted by users for any reason, including but not limited to, infringement of our intellectual property rights, violation of our policies or applicable laws, or any other reason at our sole discretion.
   
   

8. Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or to engage in any activity that violates these Terms. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: (a) using our Services to harass, threaten, or defame others; (b) using our Services to distribute spam or other unsolicited messages; (c) attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks; (d) using our Services to promote or facilitate illegal activities; and (e) interfering with or disrupting our Services or networks.

We strive to provide the best possible service within our control and will make every effort to minimize any disruptions caused by third-party platform issues. However, we cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control, such as technical issues or maintenance on third-party platforms.
